Morning Star Laundry

CRESTWOOD HAS A FREE SELF-SERVE LAUNDRY SERVICE providing the homeless and low income referrals to our services a way to clean their clothing and bedding in a dignified and safe environment.  In an effort to help these individuals and families to (1) protect the integrity of their clothing and bedding and (2) combat molds, bacteria and allergens that can affect their health, and (3) give them dignity in their appearance as they socialize and look for work. Many of our local agencies have been brought in to provide referrals to the laundry service. Groups like our Showers and Blessing ministry, The County Health Care Street Outreach, The Good Samaritan Shelter, and Catholic Charities.

This service is reserved for the homeless and no-to-low income persons by referral due to the limited number of washers and time.

Each guest is provided with one washer and one dryer on a Tuesday morning. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided along with a smiling attendant to help out. Estimated time for wash and dry is 45 minutes. A load of wash may be clothing or bedding. Each guest will be provided with a copy of the laundromat service rules.

We are extremely grateful to Anna Maria Laundromat for opening their doors to this ministry and the guests we care for when others would not. Bless you.
