Crestwood’s Mission
Our Lord summed up our mission in Matthew 25: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.‘” We believe it is our purpose to boldly share the Gospel of Christ throughout the Santa Maria Valley. We, as a part of the body of Christ, want to live so that when people say, “We wish to see Jesus.” We can be seen by them living our lives worthy of Christ’s words in John 13: “Love one another. As I have loved you…By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” Then they will understand Christ is Love.
Crestwood’s Statement of Faith
Here at Crestwood our faith – the object of our beliefs – the object of our worship – is not an imaginary object or something we have conjured up – but a real Person Who really lived – who is Jesus, the Christ.
We firmly believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Who came into this world to not only show us the nature and character of God – but also to take on Himself the punishment for the sins of every person (and we all sin) when He allowed Himself to be crucified. And through our faith – belief – trust – in Him, we will one day live with Him in a place called heaven, for eternity.
We firmly believe that when we place our faith in Jesus, we receive complete forgiveness for all our sins – past -present – and future – and we become part of His family – what Jesus calls His Church. Upon acceptance of Jesus, we are baptized in the Holy Spirit who dwells within us to guide and teach us (not to be confused withwater baptism which is an act of obedience representing what has happened to us — death to our old self and reborn new in Christ). This means we are brothers and sisters and are called to love, protect, and care for each other. Church is not something we do; it is who we are.
We firmly believe that as dedicated followers of Jesus it is our privilege and responsibility to carry on His mission by spreading His love and offer of peace with God and forgiveness, and for caring for the poor around us, no matter whothey are, just as He did.
We firmly believe that Jesus did this for us out of love, and He is the only way anyone can be right with God and live eternally in heaven with God. The scriptures tells us in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me” and we take Him at His word, literally.
We firmly believe that He will return to earth just as He said in John 14:3 – soon.
We firmly believe that God has used a message system to communicate to us, a Holy Book, we call The Bible.
We firmly believe that The Bible has come to us from God – that every Word in it is from God Himself. Therefore, we place our teachings from the Bible – all of it.

Becoming a child of God and part of Crestwood’s family will be unmatchable but the next step of connecting with a smaller family within the church to love, learn and lean on will be important.

A Message From Pastor Mike
It is such a blessing to know and be a part of this wonderful body of believers for Karen, the children, and I. Throughout my many travels around the world, I have never found a better example of believers who live with such a passion about Christ as Crestwood. Both your love for serving our Lord and your fellow man is unprecedented. I almost always refer to you each Sunday as FAMILY from the pulpit. It is because you are! I feel as strongly about each of us being one family as if we are blood relatives. Indeed, we have become such through the blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who has brought us into His family as brothers and sisters.
Matthew 12:46-50 – “While He [Jesus] was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him. Someone said to Him, ‘Look, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak to you.’ But Jesus replied to the one who was telling Him and said, ‘Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?‘ And extending His hand toward His disciples, He said, ‘Behold: My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother.‘”
I invite you to explore this website and see some of the innovative ways we reach out to our community to show the love of God, and to actually view our worship services (tap Sermons), and of course, we’d love to have you come and visit us in person, and perhaps join this “Family” of believers.

Sunday Morning Worship Service – 10:00am
When you walk into the sanctuary, there across one of the walls in big bright letters is a saying….
“Do you really believe, what you really believe, is really real?”
At Crestwood we celebrate the reality that God is real and God is love.
We face the reality that Jesus Christ is a real person, Who died on a real cross, Who really rose from the dead, Who is really very much alive right now, and one day everyone who has ever had a heartbeat will face Him. Our worship service is designed to help everyone prepare for that very certain reality.
Therefore, our worship service is real. Our music and singing is from the heart – not a performance for entertainment value.
The preaching and teaching is straight from the Bible to reveal God’s messages. We take it all in – leave nothing out. We take the challenges right along with the wonderful blessings we enjoy.
Nursery/Toddler Care
By providing learning and music videos and engaging and cuddling our little ones, our caregivers provide a safe, loving and enjoyable environment for our youngest children of God while you attend Worship and Service.
Kids
We also value our kids, so we have a dedicated cast of loving Sunday School teachers who also lead our kids to understand that God is real – and really loving!Kids Praise & Discovery
